Join award-winning author Nathaniel Philbrick and host of WBUR’s Open Source Christopher Lydon for an engaging and timely discussion. They will take us through Philbrick’s two decades as a writer of historical non-fiction as they discuss his approach to the research and writing of pivotal and complex stories with multiple narratives. Discover some of the challenges he has faced in writing about events that shape collective memory and how his approach has changed over time.
This event is free.
