The Cambridge Carnival rooted in African traditions will showcase cultural performances, arts & crafts vendors, a variety of food selections, steel pan performances, and an inspired production of cultural dance and music via a costume parade. The Jamboree events are preludes to the festival and showcases Caribbean music and fan fare. These events are free and open to the public.
Friday June 24 5 – 8pm — Log off your computer and listen to the voices of the trees speaking through the sound of the log drum. Cambridge Carnival International will bring you the sweet vibe of the log drum. Come out and experience this new musical genre of South Africa called AMAPIANO.
