Bring joy and hope to homeless children at CakeWalk, an annual family-friendly 5K walk in support of Birthday Wishes. The walk concludes with a festival of activities for the whole family including a bouncy house, lawn games, face painting, live music, crafts, free snacks and refreshments, and more! Birthday Wishes makes a difference in the lives of homeless children and their families by bringing them the joy of a birthday party. Birthday parties provide the opportunity for reflection, celebration, and hope. They are a common event in the lives of most families, but for children experiencing homelessness, families may be unable to maintain their routines and rituals. Birthday Wishes ensures that children are not denied this important rite of passage simply because of their living situation.


Every step taken and every dollar raised at CakeWalk helps ensure that children impacted by homelessness will be able to celebrate their birthday. Last year, Birthday Wishes served 5,241 birthday children and 26,190 children living in homeless shelters who attended the parties.
