Meet other retirees, chat about world travel, history, and art over a cozy Burmese meal hosted by Linda Ruth, a retired but active academic and longtime Cambridge resident! Drop Clock Club is partnering with Burmese restaurant Yoma for a social dining event - the group will gather around tables and try the restaurant's most popular dishes for $27 (tax, tip, food, and good company included) on Monday, 1/27 at 6:30pm. Drop Clock Club is a site that organizes special dining events at locally owned and immigrant owned restaurants in Boston that are accessible, affordable, and social. There are currently ~500 members ages 20-85, so it's a unique mix of people of all backgrounds who you might not be able to meet otherwise but share a love of food and community.
