Bukowski Tavern Cambridge hosts party to celebrate the late Charles Bukowski’s 99th birthday on Friday, August 16th. Bukowski’s invites customers to celebrate their namesake by indulging in special menu items crafted with the poet in mind, and the chance to win Bukowski swag.
Bukowski’s will be offering special menu items based around Charles Bukowski’s work. Inspired creations for the event include a “Ham(burger) on Rye” made up of Smoked Benton’s ham, a grilled hamburger, thousand island dressing, beer mustard, and sour kraut all on toasted marble rye. In honor of Charles Bukowski’s simple beverage tastes, the “Hamm on Rye”, a can of Hamm’s lager and a short of Old Overhold Rye, will also be available during the party.
There will also be a beer roulette wheel for guests to spin and win prizes such as Bukowski swag or a gift card.
