In this workshop, led by Building H co-founder Steve Downs and taking place at Harvard Business School, attendees will meet others interested in leveraging tech to help people live healthy lives and engage in discussions on crafting design principles for creating products with healthy impacts.
New tech leads to new products and services, which tend to shape our lifestyles – which in turn affect our health. Building H is a project to build health into everyday life by focusing on the impacts that consumer products and services – especially those enabled by emerging technologies – are having on the health of their users.
The Building H Index rates products and services on their influences on five behaviors: eating, physical activity, sleeping, engaging socially and spending time outdoors. Attendees will explore the possibilities for leveraging this framework to create a set of design and operational principles that companies can use to ensure that their products are having health-positive impact.
Light refeshments will be served. People must be fully vaccinated (and provide documentation) to attend.
