Donald Nevin will present photos he took of Buffalo Metro Rail in 1987, followed by views of transportation in Philadelphia and the nearby part of New Jersey in 2003–04. This starts with a fan trip on the former Red Arrow Lines, using two Kawasaki cars, featuring a chase of SEPTA’s diesel-powered work car that functions as both a line car and a snowplow. Next is trolleycoach service (now replaced by buses) on Snyder Avenue (SEPTA route 79), and then the New Jersey River Line running from Trenton to Camden, NJ. The show will conclude with photos of various scenes on SEPTA.
