Mr Ferrara's musical partners are chosen for their open, interactive playing. Songs are like conversations fusing rhythm, texture and emotion. Bassist Fernando Huergo can be heard on international stages as well as on over 100 recordings. Just back from a European tour Yeravan native Karen Kocharyn is unique on the jazz scene for his use of displaced rhythm and sonic texture. Trumpeter Melina will be playing her first gig with these musicians. She is young with a soaring melodic tone and hip interactive spirit.
