Brooks Wheelan and Baron Vaughn are taking their humor down low -- downstairs at Middle East in Cambridge. Brooks Wheelan snagged a spot on Comedy Central's "10 Comics to Watch" list in 2012 and became a cast member for the 2013-14 season of Saturday Night Live. More recently he released a stand-up CD, This is Cool, Right? Between riffing on racist insects, napping as a hobby and how he came up with his blues name, comedian Baron Vaughn is a master at sneaking in sly political barbs that give a satirical punch to his absurd premises. He has performed on Conan and Jimmy Fallon, acted in the films Black Dynamite and Cloverfield and on TV's Fairly Legal, and is the host of the philosophical podcast Deep S##! w/ Baron Vaughn.
