When Boston calls, Brighton answers. Consider this an essential pit stop where you can eat, drink, and shop!
The @charlesriverspeedway invited us to put on a special two-day market to celebrate the @bostoncalling music festival, which is taking place in the Lower Allston neighborhood over Memorial Day weekend. Dozens of local creators & curators will pop up to sell their art and vintage goods on Friday night and all day Saturday. There will also be 8 different food & beverage companies selling all kinds of sustenance, and the Speedway pulled a permit to allow beverages purchased onsite to roam throughout the complex, so you can sip while you browse! Our vinyl DJs @majorwaxbuildup and @evaporatedbrain will keep things festive at the market as usual, and @notchbrewing has a nice big patio next door with live music performances to boot! If you haven't had a chance to check out our events yet, this is definitely going to be the one to see!
Transportation: The Charles River Speedway is right on the 70 and 86 bus lines, and there is a parking lot as well as street parking in the neighborhood.
Weather: this market is primarily indoors and will take place rain or shine in Garage B. We will keep the 5 large garage doors open for increased air flow.
Pets: We're friendly if they are!
