Sake Day East is excited to announce their 3rd annual event taking place in Boston on Sunday, September 24th inviting customers to sample, learn and enjoy sake. With over 60 different sake varieties, guests have the opportunity to taste different types of sake, and can upgrade to guided tastings, exclusive early access for VIP ticket holders and other special perks.
World Sake Day, celebrated officially on October 1st, traditionally marks the beginning of the Sake brewing season in Japan, celebrated at tasting events all over the world. After attending Sake celebrations around the country, Marina Giordano, a sake expert and educator, wanted to create that unique experience in Boston. As a WSET Certified Sake Educator with a Japan Sommelier Association Sake Diploma, Marina is passionate about teaching others about the art and enjoyment of sake. She created Sake Day East to introduce Bostonians to this complex, ancient beverage.
