UPDATE: "Please, stay tuned for announcements about our contingency plan for ReelAbilities Boston as we face the current health crisis. Virtual screenings will replace ALL public events - details will follow soon. Our Thursday night Special Preview Screening on March 12 at the Museum of Science is now also cancelled. All other screenings will be converted to online events. In the meantime, we encourage you to stay safe and take good care of yourselves." – ReelAbilities Boston
ReelAbilities strives for inclusion of all people and is dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. In Boston, ReelAbilities has been proudly presented by Boston Jewish Film since 2011.
ReelAbilities Film Festival is the largest festival in the U.S. dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the lives, stories, and artistic expressions of people with different disabilities. Founded in New York City in 2007, the festival presents international and award-winning films by and about people with disabilities in multiple locations throughout each hosting city. Post-screening discussions and other engaging programs bring together the community to explore, discuss, embrace, and celebrate the diversity of our shared human experience.
