The Boston Public Library is proud to once again partner with Inspired Masses, Inc. and Plagio Fundación on the third annual Boston in 100 Words community-based writing contest. Every year the contest invites Bostonians to write original stories of 100 words or fewer that depict everyday life in their communities. Winning stories are selected by a panel of judges and displayed as large, illustrated posters throughout the city space for all to read and enjoy for free.
Join the Boston Public Library as it hosts the awards ceremony for the third annual version of Boston in 100 Words. During the event, we will announce a total of 13 winning stories in the youth and general categories; we will also revealing original artwork made for each winning story. Our program will also recognize over 50 authors whose stories were chosen as finalist for this year’s contest.
Registration is required at this link. Please note that this program has been moved to the Rabb Lecture Hall in the Lower Level of the Boylston Street Building.
