Come see 18 Boston landmarks light up in blue and orange as they join the Boston Harbor Islands Partnership to celebrate the season’s grand opening!
This year, the Boston Harbor Islands Partnership celebrates the Boston Harbor Islands’ 25th anniversary as a National Park and 50th anniversary as a State Park.
In commemoration of this milestone, 18 famous Boston landmarks, including Boston City Hall, South Station, the Atlantic Wharf, and the TD Garden, will light up “Harbor Blue” and “Sunset Orange” on May 20, from dusk until midnight.
All are invited to visit the sites as they mark the season’s grand opening of the Boston Harbor Islands.
The additional iconic buildings participating are the Boston Harbor Islands Welcome Center on the Greenway, Government Center Station, Boston Convention, and Exhibition Center, Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf, Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge, Longfellow Bridge, Fore River Bridge, Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, University of Massachusetts Boston, John Hancock Tower, One Financial Center and the Boston Properties’ 100 Federal Street, Hub on Causeway and 888 Boylston Plaza properties.
