Boston’s Family Fireworks sponsored by The Mugar Foundation will take place on the Boston Common at 7:00 PM.


Since 1999, every New Year’s Eve the Mugar Foundation, along with the city of Boston’s Mayor, presents Boston’s Family Fireworks Celebration. On December 31 at 7 PM midnight Greenwich Mean Time (the world’s standard), a 12-minute New Year’s Eve fireworks display takes place at the Boston Common Ballfield. Revelers have a front-row seat to this very special pyrotechnic celebration.
