The Boston Comics in Color Festival is a family-friendly event for all ages focusing on creators of color and stories by and about people of color. A first-of-its-kind event in New England, Boston Comics in Color Festival celebrates local and national comics and graphic novel creators through comics programming and an amazing artists' alley.
DAY ONE
This year Boston Comics in Color Festival kicks off with an opening panel "Frontiers of Imagination" on April 25 at 6pm-7:30pm at Roxbury Community College's Media Arts Center (1184 Columbus Ave, Boston, MA). The panel features festival guests Greg Burnham, Buttercup, Barbara Brandon-Croft, Khary Randolph, and Stephanie Williams, and will be moderated by Joel Christian Gill.
DAY TWO
Boston Comics in Color Festival takes place on April 26, 10am-5pm at RCC's Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center (1350 Tremont St, Boston, MA). Comics in Color includes headliners, special guest speakers, panel discussions with working artists and writers, workshops, a cosplay contest, live art demos, as well as an artists' alley for comic creators to share and sell their books, materials, artwork.
