The Boston Comedy Festival All-Stars were picked from a galaxy of stars that have performed at the Boston Comedy Festival over the last 23 years. Expertly curated and lovingly presented, this show features some of the Festival’s hottest acts live on stage for an incredible two hours of side splitting laughter. Boasting a line-up of veteran favorites and some of the freshest emerging talents, this jam-packed night of pure entertainment will leave you sore from belly laughs.

Emo Phillips Described by Jay Leno as "the best joke writer in America," by British comedian Gary Delaney as the best joke writer in the world, and by "Weird Al" Yankovic as one of the funniest people on the planet, Emo Philips has performed over 7000 times throughout the English-speaking world, including a multi-week run at the Playhouse Theater in London's West End. Since starting out in Chicago in 1976 at the age of twenty, Emo has had award-winning comedy albums, several cable specials (including an hour-long one on HBO), and many appearances on network television, both in America and in the UK. He has appeared in films (most notably, as the table-saw demonstrator in UHF) and has lent his distinctive voice to animated TV shows (such as Slacker Cats, Doctor Katz, Adventure Time, and Home Movies), but his first love, stand-up, remains his true one. Resumé Audio Clips Video Clips RepresentationPress Photos: Please Kindly Scroll Down to the Bottom Right-Hand Corner of my Homepage Upcoming Shows"Kavalcade o' Kudos" "I'm not sure exactly when or where I first heard one of Emo's routines, but once I did I instantly became a fan," says "Weird Al" Yankovic. "Emo had the iconic look of somebody who could have been a major star in the era of silent films. His body language was indescribably weird. And his material was flat-out brilliant." If asked at gunpoint who the funniest guy in the world was, Yankovic adds, "Without question I would have to say Emo Philips -- especially if Emo happened to be the one holding the gun." -- "Weird Al" Yankovic, quoted in CHICAGO MAGAZINE Emo Philips is admittedly a bit cuckoo, but he's the king of that stand-up staple, the one-liner. -- Katie Johnston Chase, BOSTON GLOBE  If you’re under 30 and never listened to Emo Philips because of his goofy album covers or because everyone else was into Eddie Murphy, you’re missing out. Seeing Philips is on par with watching one of the great comedy standards live; from Jay Leno returning to form outside of his Tonight Show confines in Hermosa Beach to Steve Martin taking the stage with his singing “balls.” -- Anthony D'Allesandro, LA WEEKLY

Performers

Bethany Van Delft Her “hip & grounded, laid back delivery” has earned Bethany Van Delft the honor of performing at JFL and other cool ass comedy festivals. She was named “Best Comic” by Boston Magazine in both 2020 & 2019 and her debut comedy album “Im Not a Llama” dropped to good reviews and an impressive number of minutes at #2 on the iTunes charts. She is a regular host for The Moth and has a story included in The Moth book “All These Wonders”. She hosts iHeart Radio's kids news podcast “The Ten News" and co-hosts the Nova/PBS digital series PARENTALOGIC. She spends her free time incessantly decluttering.

Corey Rodrigues Corey is a highly sought-after national touring college, club, and corporate performer. He was the winner of The Catch a New Rising Star, The Funniest Comic in New England, and the 2017 Big Sky Comedy Festivals. Rodrigues has been featured on the hilarious Gotham Live, Laughs on Fox, and True Tv's Laff Mobbs Laff Tracks. In 2018 he released his Dry Bar Comedy special, was voted "best of the fest" at the Big Pine Comedy Festival, and was picked as one of TBS's Comics to Watch at the New York Comedy Fest. In 2019 Rodrigues made his late-night TV debut on the Conan O'Brien show. He currently can be heard daily on Sirius XM. "His comedy is honest and fun", constantly peppering in stories from his life and the lives of those around him. Mix that with a hilarious point of view and he's able to talk about just about anything.

Raanan Hershberg Raanan Hershberg is a loud, neurotic Jew from Louisville, KY. He has performed his high-energy, joke-packed comedy on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Late, Late Show with James Corden, and Comedy Central. His latest special ‘Jokes from the Underground’ was just included in the New York Times ‘Best Comedy of 2022’, where critic Jason Zinoman called it the funniest YouTube Special of the year, and said  ‘his punchy and deliriously funny club comedy made me laugh after second and third viewings.’ His first special ‘Downhill Ever Since’ is almost at 200K views on YouTube. Raanan performs all over the world and is a regular at The Comedy Cellar.

Shane Mauss In 2016, science podcaster, mental health advocate, and award-winning stand-up comedian Shane Mauss (Conan, Kimmel, Comedy Central, Amazon Prime, Showtime) partnered with MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies) and embarked on an epic, sold-out 111-city psychedelic comedy tour ‘A Good Trip.’ Along the way, a film crew followed him, making the documentary ‘Psychonautics: A Comic’s Exploration of Psychedelics’.
