The Boston Civic Symphony will present our next classical concert of its 99th season on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 3:00 p.m., at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall in Boston. Francisco Noya will start the program with the tranquil Prelude to the Afternoon of the Faun by Debussy. We will continue with our fabulous concerto competition winner, Dana Chang performing the 3rd movement from Wieniawski’s 2nd violin concerto. Dana is a fantastic player performing an extremely difficult piece making it look effortless. We will end our program with the grand Nielsen Symphony no. 4 nicknamed “The Inextinguishable”. This colossal work will be a fantastic finish to this concert.
