Boston Choral Ensemble returns with a free-to-all pop-up concert in DeFarrari Hall at the Central Library in Copley Square. The 30-minute family-friendly program bursts with joyful music from the many diverse communities that call Boston home. Pieces include “Kalinda” in Haitian Creole; “Balelaikka,” a Tamil tongue-twister from India; “Salseo,” a Venezuelan song with a salsa beat; and the stirring “Song for the People” by Melissa Dunphy.
Led by their Artistic Director, Katherine Chan, the Boston Choral Ensemble returns to a full season of sharing innovative and engaging musical experiences for audiences in beloved community gathering spaces throughout Boston.
No registration required. Standing room only.
