A group of local musicians will hold their 12th Annual Charity Concert to benefit various charitable causes in the Greater Boston Area. The concert also gives an exciting performance opportunity to help inspire the next generation of young musicians.
The concert will take place on Sunday, March 26th at 4:00pm at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church of Arlington at 630 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington. The concert will follow a bake sale, which starts at 3:30pm.
The concert will feature works such as:
· "Candide" Overture by Leonard Bernstein, performed by Chihiro L. Tsukamoto, Akiko Tsukamoto
· West Side Story Medley -
"The Jets, The Sharks", "America", "I Feel Pretty", "Maria",
"Mambo" by Leonard Bernstein, performed by Yoko Igarashi , Yoko Schwarz, Chihiro L. Tsukamoto, Akiko Tsukamoto
· plus other musicians
Donation tickets are $15 per person at the door, $10 in advance via the website: http://www.bostoncharityconcert.com/
This year’s beneficiary is the Japanese Bostonian Support Line (JB Line) http://www.jbline.org/, an Arlington-based mental health support referral service.
