First performed in 1856, this classic Russian ballet follows the dashing pirate Conrad, who must rescue his beloved from the clutches of the Pasha and his harem. Joined by his trusted friend Birbanto, Conrad must overcome the dangers that loom within opulent palaces, secret caves and the violent high seas. Featuring lavish sets and stunning costumes, this production from Boston Ballet is sure to be one unforgettable dance performance.
