Boston Athenaeum Community Day

The Boston Athenaeum will host a free “Community Day” open house, opening its iconic red doors at 10 ½ Beacon Street for attendees to enjoy all five floors of one of the country’s oldest and most distinguished independent libraries, museums, and cultural institutions.

Activities include up-close views of the Athenaeum’s special collections and rare books, a hands-on bookmaking activity, live music from local artists, and remarkable views of the city from the Athenaeum’s iconic fifth-floor reading room and outdoor terraces. The Athenaeum’s children’s library will host story times and activities. 

All attendees are entered for a chance to win a free Athenaeum membership.
