UU Wellesley is hosting what is expected to be a lively book discussion with author Dale Peterson on "The Moral Lives of Animals” (Bloomsbury Press, 2011). The seventh UU Principle affirms our "respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part." Peterson, who studies animal behavior, presents a provocative case that all animal species demonstrate moral choices. Peterson, a prolific author, currently serves as Chair of PEN New England (a literary organization dedicated to free expression). Ample parking available. No charge.
