In the Editorial Freelancers Association Boston Chapter's first meeting of 2017, book designer and author Glenna Collett will be speaking about expanding your business to include book design.
She will talk about programs you can use, provide a demo of InDesign with some tips to help you pick it up quickly, and show you where to get design ideas.
Glenna Collett is a retired book designer with 42 years of experience in the field. She is the co-author of Book Design Made Simple: A Step-by-Btep Guide to Designing and Typesetting Your Own Book Using Adobe InDesign. The book will be available to purchase at a discounted price of $40, including Massachusetts sales tax. You can buy the book with a credit card, but cash is preferred.
The talk will be at Impact Hub Boston in the Windrose Conference Room on the 5th Floor at 50 Milk Street Boston, MA 02109 on Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 at 6:30 pm (networking at 5:30 pm).
