Olivia Pérez Collellmir is a pianist, composer, and bandleader from Barcelona, SPAIN. Noted in The Arts Fuse as a "Spanish virtuoso" who adds "a flamenco touch to her chamber jazz". Collellmir performance highlights include playing on the soundtrack of Isa Bonita by renowned director Fernando Colomo, a solo performance at the 25th anniversary gala of six-time Grammy nominated Boston Baroque, touring with Spanish Grammy nominee Rosana Arbelo, performing at an honorary concert for the legendary Rita Moreno, and performances for United States Secretary of State John Kerry, and opera diva Renee Fleming.
Classically trained from a young age, Olivia is an honors graduate of Berklee School of Music and has won numerous awards at the school. She is now a member of the faculty at the Berklee Piano Department, and as a tribute to her heritage, she incentivised the formation of the first Berklee Contemporary Spanish Music and Flamenco Jazz Ensemble.
This fall she will be in the recording studio putting together her first album that will feature her original music.
Bruno Råberg is an internationally renowned bass player, composer, and educator. Since coming to the U.S. from his native Sweden in 1981, he has made twelve recordings as a leader, and about 30 as a sideman, and has performed with numerous world-class artists.
Some of the distinguished musicians Råberg has performed and recorded with include Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Kenny Werner, Sam Rivers, Billy Pierce, Donny McCaslin, Billy Hart, Bob Moses, Mick Goodrick, and Ben Monder, Tours have taken Råberg throughout Europe, Scandinavia, the U.S., Japan, India, Africa, and Central America, and to jazz festivals such as Pori, Umbria, Monterey, Nancy, Bologna, Graz, Stockholm, Boston, and Cape Town. Råberg teaches at the prestigious Berklee Global Jazz institute led by pianist Danilo Pérez.
