Jenny Herzog is a singer, educator, and improvisational tap dancer who elevates everyone's mood when she performs. Her work draws upon a rich history of integration between jazz and tap dance. Jenny sings standards and original compositions, and uses tap as a musical instrument in of itself, providing percussive accents and improvisational color to everything she does. In short, she is unique and endearing and will make your day a better one.

Together, Jenny & James compliment each other in a sympatico and melodious way. They will very likely put you in a joyful state of mind.

This concert will feature an artist interview conducted by freelance journalist Dan Gewertz. Dan wrote a piece on Jenny Herzog for the Boston Globe in October 2020. The piece centered on Jenny’s community outdoor tap series called Tap for Joy! which was also profiled last month on WBUR by Andrea Shea. https://inthesetimes.com/authors/daniel-gewertz
