Adults are invited to chill and play board games at the library. Bring a friend or meet a new one. Our collection currently includes games like Uno, Coup, Ticket to Ride, Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Root, and Pinochle.
On August 10, we will also be featuring Jaela Horton, the creator of a brand new game: Black Box! This game is still in development and needs test players. If you're interested in test playing a collaborative and secretive game, email [email protected] to secure a spot.
About Black Box:
Oblivious allies or astute opponents? In Black Box, you’ll have to decide as you are blindly placed into teams by answering a question, not knowing for certain who or how many is on your side until the very end.
Discuss answers, explain your reasoning, defend your words, then point someone out but be aware - if you vote out a team mate, you are one vote closer to being voted out yourself!
This game is designed by Jaela Horton. For more information about the game, email [email protected].
