Join Flor Delgadillo (curator of the "Displacement" exhibition currently on view in the Lotvin Family Gallery until November 12th) and Nikki Silva for a free workshop on the art of block carving and print making.
In this informative and creative workshop, participants will learn a reverse way of printmaking. You'll transfer your drawing to blocks and, after a demonstration, learn to safely cut away the negative space. Participants will pick from five colors for their piece and Flor will demonstrate how to print their design on paper.
Materials will be provided. Participants are encouraged to come with "outline only" drawings of their choice of a size no bigger than 4" x 5"
For teens and adults - limited to 10 people. Registration is required. If we sell out, send us an email to join the waitlist to [email protected]
