Hello sister and brothers!
I know the world 🌍 has been very crazy these past few day and lots of things are out of our control. But with everything happing I am a strong believer in trying to center yourself and express your emotions!
I want to ask you all to come join me on Sunday for a peaceful gathering filled with; talking , sharing and venting, candle lighting ceremony to honor and mourn our black brothers and sisters and prayer (any and all religions are welcomed)
I am calling ALL Framingham Citizens AND our neighboring towns to join us in demanding change for racial injustices, police brutality, justice, and fighting all black lives.
I am truly hoping to get we can get the Chief of Police - Steven Trask, Deputy of Chief of Operations - Lester Baker, Deputy Chief of Administration - Victor Pereira, and all Framingham police who desire to join us in solidarity in the BLM, to all come join us in this moment where we I’ll honor George Floyd and all others that have been victims of racism and injustice.
Should in in case they do not join us we WILL REMAIN PEACEFUL ABSOLUTELY NO VIOLENCE. This day is to honor and stand together peacefully talking and figuring out ways to make a change!
What to bring?
- Water (extra bottles of water will be available but not much so please bring some if you can)
- Sunscreen
- MASK
- Hand Sanitizer
-candles (candles will be provided but bring more if you can)
-lighters (some will be provided too but bring one if you can)
- Signs
- Backpack with Rain Jacket just in case and an extra outfit.
- Wear BLACK clothing
If you are vulnerable to the virus and still want to join us, you are more than welcome to distance yourself behind the group. This allows you to properly social distance. Please wear your mask and gloves!
