Founded in 1973, the award-winning Blacksmith House Poetry Series brings established and emerging writers of poetry and fiction to Harvard Square. In person readings will take place at 56 Brattle on Mondays at 8pm. Admission is $5, tickets are available at the door.


Sally Keith

Sally Keith's most recent book of poems is Two of Everything. She is a professor of English and Creative Writing at George Mason University’s MFA Program, where she also co-edits Poetry Daily.


Andrea Ballou

Andrea Ballou is the author of Other Times, Midnight, winner of the 2024 Lexi Rudnitsky First Book Prize from Persea Books. Currently she teaches poetry to a group of amazing elders at the VNA in Somerville.t. His other collections are Doors Out of the Underworld and Arson & Prophets.
