Let's do this Abington!!
Invite everyone you know out for a PEACEFUL rally & Vigil to stand in solidarity against police brutality of our black brothers and sisters. It's time to build our community and stand United 💜
We hope this event will be an opportunity for learning about racism (both current and historic) and bring to light some of the challenges POC face due to systemic racism. We hope that this will be the beginning of getting people organized and active in our town--a town so rich with history in the civil rights movement--to be a place where we can all live safely as a community and we can all feel that our lives matter.
We hope you will join us to spread the message that our community doesn’t support racism or police brutality in any form, and that we will be part of the change that needs to happen.
COVID-19 Precautions:
Masks highly recommended and will be provided if you do not have one. We will also have hand sanitizer and water available. We will be holding the event outside and we encourage you to social distance while at the event.
Additional Safety Precautions:
Please do not bring bags/backpacks or coolers to this event.
