I understand that many may be feeling conflicted between going out to protest in the city and protecting yourself from exposure of coronavirus. With inspiration from the Vigil held in Hingham on Tuesday and many caravan protests around the country, I wanted to organize one for Hingham! Those of you who are worried about social distancing here is your time to show up and support this movement!!!
We would be in our cars and drive the following route (roughly the 4th of July Hingham Parade Route but in Hingham Square we will be turning right at Brewed Awakenings then left on North Street back up to Hingham High) We will be starting at Hingham High School on Sunday at 4:30pm.
PLEASE MAKE SIGNS! Either to hold up outside of your car or put them on your car!
HONK YOUR HORNS
PLEASE RESPECT TRAFFIC SIGNALS AND CROSSWALKS
PLEASE DO NOT RIDE ON THE HOOD OR ROOF OR TRUNK OF YOUR CAR. THIS WILL STOP THE PARADE.
PLAY MUSIC BY BLACK ARTISTS
