Black Girl Environmentalist Bird Watch & Hike

Join Black Girl Environmentalist and nature and wildlife photographer Michael Bryant (@naturemanmike) for a bird watch and hike in Franklin Park. Please check the weather the day of for how to dress, wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring water. If you have binoculars, please bring them. This event is centering the audience of Black girls, women, and gender-expansive people. Friends and families are welcome!

Address: Franklin Park. Meeting location: Meet by the tennis courts next to the Shattuck Picnic Grove on Circuit Drive. Google "Shattuck Picnic Grove, Boston, MA" for GPS navigation. 

Other notes: Street parking is available and our meeting point is accessible via public transportation. 

Hike information: Expect to walk 4 miles on paved and rocky surfaces with some incline. The nearest restrooms are at the Franklin Park Golf Course. This is a beginner friendly hike/walk. In the event of heavy rain, the walk will be canceled.
