On Tuesday, August 27 at 7:30 p.m., singer and songwriter Bill Staines will perform in the 1793 Carriage House at Gore Place. For over forty years, Bill Staines has traveled back and forth across North America singing his songs and delighting audiences at festivals, colleges, concerts, clubs and coffeehouses. In 1971, a reviewer for the Boston Phoenix wrote Bill was “Boston’s best performer.” Since then, Bill has appeared on folk-music-radio listener polls as one of their all-time, favorite folk artists. Now in his fifth decade as a folk performer, Bill has gained an international reputation as a gifted songwriter and performer. Tickets are adults $16.
