Bill McKibben preaches in a special morning worship at Hancock Church on September 11 at 10:00am, followed by a time for questions and answers. Recently McKibben wrote an insightful book titled The Flag, The Cross, and The Station Wagon: A Graying American Looks Back At His Suburban Boyhood, and Wonders What the Hell Happened. McKibben reflects on his childhood in Lexington in light of major societal shifts across the country in recent decades. This book will be relevant to the Q&A, but please come whether you’ve read the book or not!
This event can be attended either in-person or virtually. Both morning worship and the Q&A will be livestreamed via youtube.com/HancockChurch.
