The second Learning to Walk the Talk Series event of The Dance Complex’s 2023-24 season takes place on December 12 with Beyond Labels: Latin American Identities and the Artistic Spaces.


Beyond Labels will gather Latin American artists from Greater Boston to share their experiences with racialization upon arrival in the United States, navigating questions on who belongs in Latino spaces, language barriers, and how to make the arts spaces more welcoming to all Latino identities.


This discussion will feature Mariana Paes, Jean Appolon, and Valentina Romero, facilitated by Elsa Mosquera-Sterenberg. Beyond labels will be available for both in-person and virtual participation at a pay-what-you-can rate. Registration is required.
