L.A. composer/jazz pianist Bevan Manson brings an octet version of his new jazz/studio orchestra recording ‘Talking to Trees’ to the Regattabar!


Featuring 9-time Grammy nominee Tierney Sutton, internationally renowned vibraphonist Joe Locke and legendary drummer Matt Wilson, the octet will play Bevan’s colorful charts, ranging from straight ahead contemporary jazz to more classical-influenced pieces.


Bevan has written music for many performers and groups ranging from Manhattan Transfer’s Cheryl Bentyne to Village Vanguard Orchestra’s Gary Smulyan to the San Francisco Symphony.
