The Oakland-based Bells Atlas blends R&B, psychedelia, jazz, and pop. Channeling at once the lo-fi beats of Tune-Yards and the sighing lullabies of Sade, the alchemic music of Bells Atlas invites listeners to think and feel about life, death, and the fluid in-between.
Bells Atlas has shared the stage with acts such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Badbadnotgood, Bilal, Meshell Ndegeocello, W. Kamau Bell, Angélique Kidjo, NPR’s Snap Judgment, and more. Most recently, they wrapped up a sold-out tour supporting Bermuda Triangle, a side-project of Alabama Shakes lead singer Brittany Howard.
