She is also the Founder, Curator & Host of the Award-winning and NSFW storytelling series, Bawdy Storytelling (“The Moth for Pervs” - LA Weekly, “The Original Sex and Storytelling series” - Playgirl) that’s been lauded for its transformational, relatable, empowering performances. This live stage series is currently headed into its 16th year, the groundbreaking Bawdy Storytelling podcast has had millions of downloads, plus it’s been acknowledged as a ‘Best Of’ Sex podcast from Oprah Magazine, Mashable, Buzzfeed, Forbes, GQ Magazine, Marie Claire, Uproxx, Daily Mail UK, Bustle and (twice!) by Esquire Magazine.
Dixie has been Sainted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (“Saint Kiss & Make You Tell”) for her work to reduce stigma and eliminate shame, her dog Quake was Sainted in 2022 and Dixie's actually a Muppet, too. In addition to story and public speaking coaching for her own series, Dixie coaches for TEDx, Women in Technology, offers custom Brand Storytelling coaching, has led storytelling events in Libraries, teaches Storytelling for the Classroom and has been a featured teller for the National Storytelling Conference. Ultimately, this story-loving southerner is passionate about storytelling’s ability to keep people safe, reduce social anxiety and connect us with strangers. Stories help you find your people!
Jennifer Rahner is a Sexuality Educator who is changing how we talk about sex one conversation at a time. She holds space for brave conversations and teaches with authenticity and vulnerability, unafraid to expose herself completely. A professional writer and educator with over 25 years of experience specializing in psychology, gender, sexuality, and pleasure, her education includes a BA from Saint Joseph’s University as well as studying with leaders in the field of human sexuality like Betty Dodson, Barbara Carellas, and Reid Mihalko. She coaches clients and conducts workshops internationally, both in-person and virtually. Jennifer's approach is centered around helping people love the skin they're in, improving orgasm, understanding sexual narratives, and empowering individuals in their pursuit of pleasure. For more information about Jennifer you can visit her website at jenniferrahner.com.
Tori Weston is a writer/artist, Risk podcast veteran (and featured in the Risk book) and a big of fan of Bawdy Storytelling. Her writing has been published in Memoir Magazine, Under the Gum Tree and the forthcoming Black Memoirs Matter. Her artwork has been displayed at the Somerville Museum, Gallery 263, Somerville Library and Brickbottom Gallery. Tori was most recently featured in the documentary We Are Here Too, a documentary highlights four female artists of color navigating a global pandemic and social justice uprisings of 2020.
Cecilia Villero, aka Goddess Cecilia, is a Filipina Pleasure Educator, Advocate & Consultant who believes that even though 95% of the ocean remains unexplored, your pleasure doesn’t have to be. Through her company, Mer-Made for Pleasure, she strives to create trauma-informed spaces for BIPOC women and femmes focused on expanding, reclaiming, and liberating their pleasure narratives, especially for survivors of sexual violence. In addition to a curated shop of adult pleasure products and accessories, Cecilia leads playful workshops, hosts the Raw Bar podcast, and volunteers with various nonprofits focused on sex education and supporting survivors.
Meg Dahl originates from North Carolina and lived in MA most of her life, she currently lives begrudgingly with roommates in Somerville in the bustling Davis Square and has her dog Piglet to make life a bit more interesting. She is a 40 year old solo poly single gal looking for love in all the mediocre places. Putting the Bi in bicoastal due to her time back and forth from Boston and San Francisco.
Having nearly two decades of city living under her belt, interrupted only briefly by a six-year coast-to-coast journey, Meg brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her community. As the creator of a local sex and queer-positive educational series called Tongue & Cheek, she credits Bawdy Storytelling for inspiring her to foster open and comfortable dialogues about sex and relationships.
With Piglet by her side, Meg navigates life with a blend of resilience, curiosity, and a passion for connecting with others, making her a vibrant and invaluable member of her surroundings.
