Join Barre3 Brookline for their THIRD ANNUAL fundraiser to raise money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation! Even though we can't be together in the studio this year, we're still able to be together on Zoom from wherever your heart desires! This hour-long class will be just like an in-person class and will feature elements from barre, yoga, and Pilates. It will get your heart thumping, and is sure to give you the "rewarding endorphin high and deep muscle burn" that Barre3 fanatics swear by! 100% of ticket sales go towards the mission of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation--"...to cure Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases."
FAQs
So how exactly will this work?
You'll receive a Zoom link about a half-hour before class is scheduled to begin. We'll all log on about 10-15 minutes before class for a quick welcome and intro from our amazing instructor. Since it's a Zoom class, we'll all be able to see the instructor (and each other!) and the instructor can see us so she'll be cheering us on!
What should we have ready for class?
Have a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle at the ready. No mat? No problem! Part of the workout will be on the floor, and a beach towel will work just fine.
What if I've never done barre before?
Not to worry! Barre3 is full of modifications so that no matter your level, class can be tailored to you!
What should I wear?
"Yoga-like attire (i.e. leggings or long shorts, comfortable top). Make sure you’ll be comfortable in a variety of postures. Classes are performed barefoot in studio, so you might want to do the same at home."
