In their band, Kristalis Sotomayor Matos (Flute/Voice), Daniel Duarte (Piano), Carlos Fabré (Bass), and Ernan Ramos (Drums) play many different genres like pop, jazz, reggaeton, Merengue, Salsa, R&B, and their specialty, Latin-Jazz. This band was created while they were studying at Berklee College of Music. They all connect as musicians and friends and that is why they enjoy playing music to deliver that special connection to the public. The members of this band come from both Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic, which makes them a band full of flavor and energy. They bring joy to the spectators, make people dance, and make people happy. Follow Kristalis on Instagram and visit this link for a music video.
This concert is presented in partnership by the Boston Public Library and the Berklee College of Music as part of BPL's Concerts in the Courtyard series sponsored by Bank of America. Registration is not required but seating is first come, first served. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors.
