Who knew? We consume almost two billion pounds of oysters each year around the world. 


With more than 100 different species of oysters, it’s clear we love these wild, flavorful delicacies. 


And since odds are that only one out of every 10,000 oysters will produce a pearl, Bambara Kitchen & Bar in Cambridge plans to celebrate National Oyster Day in a more guaranteed manner.


To commemorate National Oyster Day (Saturday, August 5th), Bambara Kitchen & Bar will offer oysters for $1/each during the restaurant’s dinner meal period, 5pm - 10pm, for dine-in only.


Selection of oysters will vary but look for yummy local / East Coast oysters like Wellfleets and Blue Points, the slightly crisp, sweeter oysters we all love.


And after August 5th, Bambara will continue to offer $1 oysters/each daily from 5-7pm.
