The Back Bay Chorale and Orchestra, directed by Scott Allen Jarrett, present Unfinished Masterpieces, a program that features Mendelssohn’s Christus, Schubert’s Symphony #8 (“Unfinished”), and the program’s centerpiece, Mozart’s Requiem. Though unfinished at the time of each composer’s death, these three monumental works remain an important part of the Western musical canon.
