Enjoy time and space to write and reflect in the inspiring spaces of the Loring Greenough House. October 17th, 7pm - 8:15pm
As the leaves change color, and wispy smoke starts to hang in the air, our thoughts turn to the season of autumn and all that fall in New England has to offer. How to capture this magical, mystical season of pumpkins, cider, sweaters, and the perfect chill in the air? Yes, your camera can sometimes do the trick, but the Loring Greenough House has a treat for you!
Sometimes you just need to put something into words, or read someone else's to perfectly capture a moment, a season...
Come to our AUTUMN WRITE NIGHT!! Bring a journal, your computer, your favorite writing instrument and settle into the coziness of the House for an hour, giving yourself that luxury of time to write. For those who might need some seasonal inspiration, we'll have some fun writing prompts. Or, if you're not in the mood to write yourself, we invite you to bring a seasonal book, some poetry, and let yourself sink into the season.
We'll have seasonal snacks, too!! And perhaps, if so moved, we might share some of our own work or read from published works to celebrate all the wonders of AUTUMN!
