THE ARNOLD ARBORETUM OF HARVARD UNIVERSITY FEATURES THOUSANDS OF SPECIES OF FLORA FROM AROUND THE WORLD AND THE PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND ALL YEAR LONG, ESPECIALLY IN THE FALL WHEN THE PARK’S FOLIAGE COMES ALIVE WITH COLOR.


On this workshop we will visit the Maples collection first and then the Birch collection and other parts of the park as warranted. We will meet at the Hunnewell Building at 8 am and take a 10 minute walk to the maples.


Optional sunrise shoot at nearby Jamaica Pond from 6 - 7 AM at the boathouse (sunrise is at 6:18 AM – be advised this is the first day back on Eastern Standard Time, meaning we fall back an hour on Saturday night).


This is not an Arnold Arboretum sponsored event. $5 donation to the Friends of the Arboretum included for all registrants.
