Gardening Opportunity at the Loring Greenough House
11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on October 22
With the waning of summer weather, autumn tasks are on the horizon and we’d appreciate your help in maintaining the beautiful grounds of the Loring Greenough House. A peaceful haven in the midst of a dense urban neighborhood, the grounds are a place for people to enjoy a picnic lunch, read a book, chat with a friend, mosey through the flower beds, or contemplate nature.
If you are interested in yard work, don’t mind getting dirt under your nails, enjoy the company of like-minded people and have some time to spare we’d love your help on Sunday, October 22, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with the following tasks:
• Leaf-raking
• Weeding
• Pruning
• Bulb-planting
• General garden clean-up
Feel free to bring a friend or two!
Bring your own garden gloves and, if you like, bring a rake, pruner or other garden tool.
