Daniel Dain is a lawyer by profession and a Boston historian by passion. As an active member of Boston By Foot, Daniel regularly participates in our walking tours to explore the city's vibrant history. A few years ago, he undertook the ambitious project of writing a comprehensive history of Boston, spanning from the First Peoples to the city’s first woman and person of color to be elected mayor.
Join Daniel in this virtual experience as he discusses his work with Boston By Foot and examines the key role that density, diversity, and urban design play in the success of cities like Boston.
Program registration is free with a suggested donation to support Boston By Foot's nonprofit mission to inspire locals and visitors to discover and appreciate the diverse stories of Boston by exploring the cityscape together. Virtual programs are recorded and a link to the recording is sent to all registered participants a week after the program.
