Attachment is a psychological horror-romance with comedic elements steeped in Jewish mysticism and mythology. Maja (Josephine Park, The Venus Effect), a struggling actress in Denmark falls quickly in love with Leah (Ellie Kendrick, Game of Thrones, The Diary of Anne Frank), a young Jewish academic visiting from England. When Leah suffers a debilitating seizure, Maja follows her home – to her Hasidic London neighborhood. There she meets Chana (Sofie Gråbøl, The Killing), Leah’s secretive, over-protective Jewish mother, and downstairs neighbor (as well as her Uncle Lev, played by David Dencik, No Time to Die)! Despite all attempts, Maja can’t win Chana over. Maja’s fears deepen as strange things happen in the building. A lesbian romance and possession story also about family bonds, Attachment conjures a world rife with suspicion and distrust, and ultimately, love.
Featuring a pre-recorded outro from Director Gabriel Bier Gisalson.
