Kao Kue is a Hmong American storyteller and poet who credits her strength and passion for words and community building to her ancestors and foremothers.


Michelle Myers is a spoken word poet, community activist, and educator. She is a founding member of the spoken word poetry group Yellow Rage, a dynamic duo of Philly-based Asian American female spoken word poets.


Cynthia Dewi Oka is a poet, immigrant, and author of Nomad of Salt and Hard Water. A two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, her poetry has appeared in publications such as Guernica, Dusie, Black Renaissance Noire, The Blueshift Journal, Kweli, Painted Bride Quarterly, and others.
