In Sanskrit, the Ashtanga intermediate series is referred to as nadi shodhana, which translates to the cleansing of the subtle energy channels. The poses build on the strength and flexibility of the Ashtanga primary series, offering more opportunity to work with backbends, hip opening, and arm balances. In this workshop we will go through all the poses in the Ashtanga second series, offering attainable versions for each pose, to balance the body and enable the free flow of prana.
